Module Overview

The sixth module covers basic wireline tool safety. Nothing is more important when working on a rig than safety. This module stresses the importance of good communication and double checking, and how awareness is the key to avoiding incident or injury. Also, why radioactive tools and explosive tools have their own set of stringent rules is shown. Finally, along with the risk of static electricity and fluid and pressure testing tools, the extreme dangers of H2S gas is explained and how simple safety steps can save lives.
